Now Accepting Auction Consignments!
Concept Art Gallery is currently accepting pieces to include in our two auctions this fall. The first will be held in early October and will consist of fine art and antique furniture. The second will be a sale of modern artwork and furniture to be held in early November.
If you are interested in submitting work to include in our auctions, please send us photographs and detailed descriptions including dimensions and any other available information about signatures, labels, maker’s mark, medium, or physical condition for each work via post or email. If the collection is large, feel free to send a few representative pictures. New Work Upstairs!
As things are winding down from the spring auctions, we are excited to showcase our newest acquisitions in the gallery. On display in the front upstairs gallery are three vibrant James Siena screenprints from his Battery Variations series. Other exciting new works on display upstairs include prints by Mickalene Thomas and Robert Cottingham. Also showing are mixed media works by Sam Gilliam and works on panel by Clayton Merrell that he describes as, “the lushness and sublimity of landscapes…as spaces in which to examine the structures of painting, representation and vision.”
We are thrilled about these new acquisitions and eager for you to enjoy them too, so stop by the gallery between 10 and 5:30 Tuesday through Saturday and take a look for yourself!
